Mailing lists

Have you ever wondered what are mailing lists exactly? Well, don't wonder anymore. Mailing lists are simple and easy way for any geek of the street to pretend that he is very popular, by subscribing to a couple of hundred mailing lists.

Well, that's only one reason why mailing lists exist, the other reason is so that people of different backgrounds and cultures can exchange their view on particular subject.

There are all kind's of mailing lists. Some work as discussion groups, some work as an information gateways, some work as an marketing scams, and some are just fun. They can come daily(I was subscribed to one mailing list, I'm not telling which, and I got more than 100 e-mails in one day, but there are not many of those fortunately), weekly or monthly. Some are very small and some are quite large. You may think that you don't need them, or that they are just too much for you to handle, but you won't know until you have tried them out. So go ahead, pick one and live a little.

Everything you have to do is explained below, and remember, it's all free so don't be suckered into paying anything for them.
